Peru is a place of wonders, for thousands years it was the spiritual center of South America, and the main destinations for pilgrims and seekers. Great cultures with deep philosophy and direct and unique contact to nature lived along the Andes and left remarkable history and mystery behind them. There is everything in Peru, amazing sceneries, mystic cultures, folklore, wonderful music, interesting history, beautiful archeology sites, warm people, and good food. The range of the Andes that cross Peru from north to south has an extreme beauty, and makes Peru one of the most attractive places to visit.

 This is a unique spiritual journey into the Shamanic culture of the Andes, to a culture that had a special contact with nature, with its elements, powers, and spirit.

In this journey we will meet local shamans and perform with them special ceremonies, we will visit the sacred sites of the ancient cultures, we will contact the nature and its spirit, and mainly we will go into a personal initiation trip.

The guide and instructor Shmuel Shaul has been in Peru many times, he leaves and breaths the spirit of the place, with his guidance we will have the opportunity to have a multidimensional experience that is a gift for life.

We will start our Journey in the sacred valley, from there we will go down to the great beauty of Machu Picchu, then we will had back to the Sacred valley and continue to the Archeological Capital of Peru, Cuzco, which means the Navel of the world. From Cuzco we will go up to towards the Spirit of the mountain APU and visit the great landscape APU Auzangate, and we will finish our journey in the Titicaca Lake which is one of the most spiritual power point of the planet, and a center for the feminine energy of the planet.

Itinerary

DAY 1, July 9: LIMA

Bienvenidos al Peru! Arrive at Lima’s Jorge Chavez International Airport. After concluding the immigration requirements, we will have transfer to the hotel

DAY 2, July 10: LIMA – CUSCO – Sacred valley

Early breakfast, then we will return to the airport to take the flight to Cuzco. Bienvenidos al Cusco! Froom there we will continue our hotel, situated in the Inca´s sacred valley. On the way we will have the opportunity to have a panoramic view of the historical center of Cusco City. UNESCO world heritage site. Arriving to the village of Ollantaytambo we will have free time to rest and explore at our own pace the area and get use to the high altitude.

DAY 3, July 11: CUSCO SACRED VALLEY – ANDEAN CEREMONY

First day to visit the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit Ollantaytambo fortress, considered an architectural wonder, with a series of superimposed terraces of carved stones accessed by long staircases. In the Afternoon we will perform traditional Andean ceremony.

DAY 4, July 12: SACRED VALLEY – MACHU PICCHU VILLAGE

Early in the morning, we will depart for Machu Picchu Village, we will board on train and will move through canyons with beautiful views of Andean landscapes. Upon arrival we will the take the local bus that will take us up to Machu Picchu. At 2,300 meter above sea level, the Citadel is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World and is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Our guided expedition explores this ancient sacred site, including the old Sanctuary, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of Three Windows, the Solstice Tower and Intihuatana (literally hitching post of the sun), possibly the last remaining seasonal sun dial in Peru. Then we will have time to explore and contact the spirit of this unique place.

DAY 5, July 13: MACHU PICCHU SANCTUARY – SACRED VALLEY

Early in the morning, we will have the opportunity to climb Huayna Picchu Mountain inside Machu Picchu, to be on top of Huayna picchu is one of the most beautiful and powerful experience. After we will start our going back to Ollantaytambo and will go to visit Moray, archaeological site, several enormous terraced circular depressions, the largest of which is about 30 m deep. The purpose of these depressions is uncertain, but their depth and orientation with respect to wind and sun creates a temperature difference of as much as 15 °C (27 °F) between the top and bottom. This large temperature difference was possibly used by the Inca to study the effects of different climatic conditions on crops. In other words, Moray was perhaps an Inca agricultural experiment station. If time permits we will visit the day to know a traditional market located in the Andean village of Chincheros.

DAY 6, July 14: SACRED VALLEY – PISAC TERRACES (B/-/-)

In this day we will visit the archaeological site of Pisac it is an impressive site above the valley. From there we will go down and explore the local market. After we will drive towards Cuzco

DAY 7, July 15: CUSCO CITY TOUR

We will start a city tour in Cusco visiting the main square, the Plaza de Armas, the main Cathedral of Santo Domingo, the Santo Domingo’s Monastery, which was built over an Inca palace Koricancha, and the Inca Temple of the Sun. and then we will explore the sites around Cuzco Kenko, Puca Pucara and the wonderful fortress of Sacsayhuaman

To visit the many local crafts markets, the good restaurants, and strolling in the beautiful alleys

DAY 9, July 17: CUSCO – AUSANGATE MOUNTAIN

In this day we go towards the high mountains, after an early wake up, we will go towards Auzangate. On the road opportunity to visit Tipon, temple of the water, and Cuyuni Rural Community where the villagers show the traditional activities that they do, agriculture, religion, gastronomy, weaving, among others. In the Afternoon we will continue to Tinqui and stop there to acclimatize before our trekking. Overnight in Ausangate Lodge.

DAY 10, July 18: AUSANGATE TREEKING

In this day we will walk from Tinqui towards Upis, with the beautiful sceneries of the Ausangate. People who wish to be helped by horses can take ride. We will make our camping in Upis community where they have natural thermal hot waters, near to Ausangate snowcapped mountain.

DAY 11, July 19: AUSANGATE SACRED MOUNTAIN

We will spend the day around Upis, performing a special ceremony for the spirit of the mountain. Overnight in Camping

DAY 12, July 20: AUSANGATE

Back to Ausangate Lodge, initial point.

DAY 13, July 21: CUSCO TO PUNO

In this day we will have a long drive to Puno, the City of Titicaca Lake. We travel along the High Plateau of the Collao, with a stop at the Inca Sun Sanctuary of Raqchi, a temple dedicated to Wiracocha, the great god of the Incas. Also in the way we could appreciated the fortress of Puca Pucara. Upon arrival in Puno, transportation delivers you to your hotel in Puno. Around 10 hours by car with stops on the way. DAY 14, July 22: PUNO TITICACA LAKE – Amantani Island

A day to explore Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world. We will start the day visiting the Uros Floating Islands Discover floating Island where the houses and boats as well as the islets themselves are made of reeds. Then we will continue to the Amantani Island, inhabitants of Quechua villagers.

In the afternoon we will climb to Pacha Mama temple which is one of the most powerful energetic point in the Titicaca, very simple shrine but with special qualities. We will perform there a ceremony.

The visit to Amantani, necessary include de overnight in the island. The houses are very simple and their services are basic. There is no drinkable water, not even electricity and certainly neither comfortable baths nor showers. Nevertheless, this experience of stay in a little house with the family is a very significant revelation of the reality of the people of the Andes. In this experience, every traveler is invited to share with the villagers some artistic aptitude, educational activities or only conversation. Overnight: Villagers house.

DAY 15, July 23: PUNO TITICACA LAKE – Tequila Island

 Early in the morning, after having shared the night with the local family, we are going to Tequila Island, which is the most visited island; nevertheless the villagers still guard their ancient gowns with a meaning in the colors that they use. We will have the opportunity to explore and observe the wonderful sight of the Lake, which the island offers. In the afternoon we will return to our hotel in Puno city.

DAY 16, July 24: PUNO – ARAMU MURU PRE INCA DOOR

In this day we will visit the Aramu Muru interdimensional door. Situated 35 kilometers from Puno and very close to Lake Titicaca, amidst green fields, we find what is considered one of the wonders of the region: The door of Aramu Muru, a stone construction seven meters wide and seven meters tall. Locals say that it is the entrance to the God Meru’s Temple of Illumination or “Hayu Marca”. Natives consider the place known as “Aramu Muru” as a door to higher dimensions. The scenery here is so beautiful and it makes this place really a place of magic and wonder and a really beautiful place to end our journey.

DAY 17, July 25

Early breakfast and the check out to the hotel. On the way to the Juliaca airport, we will visit the famous “Chullpas of Sillustani”; this archaeological site is conforming by stone cylinder burial chambers used by the Aymaras to bury their leaders. The Chullpas are located in front of Umayo Lake which adds further beauty to the place. Here, we also have the opportunity to observe several local typical birds and natural landscapes.

From Juliaca we will take our flight to Lima. And from there to our international flight.
